PS--I'm in favor of anything that provides less air time for Skip Bayless and Steven A. Smith--

As much as I love baseball, and Nate Silver's track record on baseball, what he's been doing at 538 is way more important. He's more than earned the right to pursue what likes him best, but I hope this deal doesn't preclude him from continuing to provide sense in a sea of nonsense.
ReplyDeleteIt's way past time for all right-minded sports fans to apply Paul Anka's guarantee to Skip Bayless. Mark Cuban vaporizing him after the finals a couple years back should have demonstrated to everyone's satisfaction that there's no there, there.
